National commission for Children (NCC) and other organizations related with human rights’ research points out that children are violated and get pregnant in big number, even those who violate them are many but those who are punished are few. NCC says that with collaboration of all people in charge will be only solution to end this problem.
In the meeting of NCC and other organization related with children’s right which took place on17 August 2017, they showed that even though children are violated, there are big challenges of hiding information about children violence .This fact prevents people who do this from being caught and punished
The spokesman of non-governmental organization, Jean Leonard Sekanyange says that hiding information about children’s violence impacts on Rwandan families.
He says that that even if it is 5or 100 children, it is not good for a Rwandan child girl to get pregnant at under legal age of getting pregnant and those people who make them to get pregnant are not punished. It affects not only child but also his family in general. This problem turns to be a burden on Government side because, country takes into accounts those children whose families are not able to look after them.
