Professional doctors in kidney operating in Rwanda are going in India to increase their knowledge; Ministry of health says that they will get enough knowledge which will help them to treat patients very good.
7 professional nurses in kidney operating met health minister, Dr. Diane Gashumba, before going to Bangalore hospital in India where they will spend one month. These are ones who firstly finish their masters program in University of Rwanda in kidney medicine.
They promise Rwandese and Government that they are ready to contribute to Rwanda development when they come from India. One of them said that they had learnt to use machine and kidney replacing (kidney plant), that he would go to learn more about that.
Minister of health, Dr. Diane Gshumba declared that it is worth to teach people to protect themselves untransmitted disease like kidney because this prevention manner is cheap than to be treated
She said that those diseases are increasing but their prevention way is easy, this is sport practicing, eating no more sugar, to stop smoking tobaccos, etc…
Now, there 5 institutions which take care of kidney patients, but next year there will be another institute in Kanombe military hospital
In Rwanda there aren’t kidney replacing right now but Unites States of American investors and Indians who wish to build hospital which will look after kidney patients
